How to Administer Narcan to someone having an overdose

Last week, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved Narcan, 4 milligram (mg) naloxone hydrochloride nasal spray for over-the-counter (OTC), nonprescription, use – the first naloxone product approved for use without a prescription. Narcan rapidly reverses the effects of opioid overdose. If you are around someone who is high-risk for an overdose from opioids (Heroin, Fentanyl, and prescription opioid medications), then carrying Narcan can help save their life.

Watch this video on how to administer Narcan.
