14 cited in underage alcohol sales sweep

Over a dozen businesses were caught selling alcohol to people under 21 in a countywide sweep Thursday, according to the Cherokee Marshal's Office.

Volunteers aged 16 to 20 attempted to purchase alcohol in the sweep, conducted by the marshal's office, Cherokee Sheriff's Office, Canton, Holly Springs and Woodstock police.
